This sounds like our issues with grant funding writ large.
They want the 'sexy' projects to fund, and not the fundamental things non-profits do to keep history, culture, and community alive.
At least bots on social media have mindless algorithms to blame for making stupid comments about the current heatwave. My favourite one today said students should just do their learning outdoors this week. At least I hope it's a bot, because I'd be concerned if this was a living, breathing human commenting and they were allowed to breed.
I am so, so tired of these posters for events that are clearly created by the same 'AI generator'. It's dull and it's uninspiring. I'm not anywhere near a designer, but please, I beg of you: when you prompt, go into more detail and get the software to produce a design that is a little more unique to your organisation.
Today, I voted tactically for our borough council elections (to help keep the total idiots out of the ward, who I voted for have actually done a decent job). I voted based on principle for parish council elections (no total idiots running in the ward).
We need preferential voting, man.
What if the other guy said,
